Proteins Post workout!

The word “Protein” comes from the Greek word proteinos, which
means “primary” or “First Place” Swedish scientist Jöns Berzelius
coined the term in 1838 to reflect the importance of proteins.
The secret lies in its crucial role in muscle recovery and growth.
Exercise causes microscopic muscle tears, which stimulate growth
and repair. Protein is the essential building block for rebuilding
stronger muscles.
Adequate protein intake post-workout:
Promotes muscle growth and strength
Aids in tissue repair
Supports immune function
Helps maintain a healthy weight
India's protein consumption falls short of recommended levels.
Protein consumption is much lower than the 48 gms/day that is
recommended by the Indian Council of Medical.
Research (ICMR). The recommended dietary allowance of protein for
an average Indian adult is 0.8 to 1 gm per kg body weight, however,
the average intake is about 0.6 gm per kg body weight.
To optimize your fitness journey, ensure you're getting enough
protein.
